Yup!! Go onto my page and on the left hand side if you scroll down to the last two boxes above my clubs, one is my watchers and one is my fiends. The friends box is people I have added there because they're really nice to me. You can add people to your friend's list by going into "Account"; next to your inbox and updates. Then, under "Manage", on your left-hand side, above your clubs but below the google adds, you'll see a button that says "My Watch" with a little coffee cup next to it. On your left-hand side will be a list of all the people you watch with check boxes and a little green person with a " " sign next to him. The little boxes can make it so you can watch someone but not have their art or journals go into your updates and the little green man is the button you click to add people you consider friends to your friends list. Did I make that easy enough?
